Kwahu West Municipal placed third in BECE ranking
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Kwahu West Municipal Assembly, Mr. Yaw Owusu Addo has indicated that, schools in the Municipality have performed marvelously in the 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) with 85.9 percent making a huge different of the 79.9 percent recorded last year.

He said this is as a result of the innovative weekend classes for the JHS 3 pupils and sacrifice made by teachers in the municipality.
Disclosing this at the Last Town Hall Meeting the year, he said “I am reliably informed that my municipal is placed as the third best in the Eastern Region in the BECE ranking this year”. He stated that, frantic effort will be made to boost the morale of teachers in the municipality.
He also appealed to the teachers to desist from deviant behavior in order not to dent the image of the teaching profession.
Mr. Addo called on parents to show interest in the education of their children because their future depends on the kind of education they would receive.
