The Chief Executive for Abura-Asebu Kwamankese in the Central Region, Mr. William Ata-Mends, has presented 6 sets of jerseys and GHs 4,000 to some selected youth clubs in the district.

The donation according to the DCE was to commemorate the week long sporting festival which was held at Moree, a suburb community within the district.

Presenting the items to the various youth clubs, Mr. Ata-Mends anticipated that the donation would go a long way to enhance the efficiency of youth football and other field events in the district.

The DCE also used the opportunity to advise the youth to abstain from acts of violence and only be focused by making education a priority, adding that parents should also show extra interest in the education of their wards.

Mr. Ata-Mends also called on the youth in the area to study hard and instill disciplined in their educational cycle to improve upon their lives.

Receiving the items, leaders of the various youth clubs also expressed appreciation to the DCE for the gesture and appealed for more of such supports.
