The Abura-Asebu-Kwaanese District Assembly as part of its development efforts is to award contract for new projects in various communities in the district.

The Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese District Assembly as part of its development efforts is to award contract for new projects in various communities in the district.

In line with this, the assembly has advertised some new projects and tendering process is ongoing for the award of the contracts.

They are as follows:

1. Abaka public toilet

2. Aboase toilet

3. Asebu construction of drainage

4. Asebu Ekrofor construction of kindergarten

5. Batanyaa 3-unit classroom block

6. Dunkwa 2 culverts

7. Dunkwa completion of toilet at Oborenkyew

8. Dunkwa 3-unit semi-detached staff quarters

9. Dunkwa Hosital family shed at hospital

10. Dunkwa Mangoase teachers’ quarters

11. Katakyiase teachers’ quarters

12. Korko Mensah Ekrofor toilet

13. New Odonase toilet

The District Chief Executive, William Atta-Mends also hinted that the assembly will embark on household toilet construction this year by supporting individual households to construct their toilet. This he noted is in line with their quest to improve sanitation in the district especially over dependence on public toilet.
