Assembly members at the East Mamprusi District have confirmed Mr. Imoro Adam as the District Chief Executive (DCE).

He polled 37 out of 50 votes representing 74% which meet the required two-third majority for his confirmation.

Mr.Imoro Adam expressed gratitutde to the president for his renomination and also to the assembly members for the confidence reposed in him. He however called for more support from all stateholders in order to achieve the needed development in the various communities.

The DCE also indicated that the attention that was given to education wiould be improved upon as it is inline with the national agenda to improve eccess to quality education across the country.

The Northern Regional Minister, Bede Anwataasumo Ziedeng commemded the assembly and urged them to ensure gender equality indecision making to give hope to their female counterparts.

He also reminded of their duty to their communities by identifying problems and helping find solutions to them.
