EAST MAMPRUSI:Assembly takes measures to improve BECE results

The District Assembly in its bid to improve upon the results of last year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in East Mamprusi in the Northern Region has put measures in place to ensure this course.

The District Assembly in its bid to improve upon the results of last year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in East Mamprusi in the Northern Region has put measures in place to ensure this course.

The measures are organizing supervised extra classes by all schools in the District for the final year pupils and educating parents about this new course which would aid in the improvement of the results of last year’s BECE.

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com the East Mamprusi District Chief Executive, Adam Imoro stated that it was important they added parents to the exercise to enable them supervise their wards’ studies at home as well as drive them off on time to their various schools during mid-day to study.

He also added that teachers helping with the supervision are also been given extra allowances to motivate their readiness to support pupils in learning.

Adam Imoro disclosed that five newly constructed bungalows have been built at Nalerigu, Samimi, Gawali, Lagdamfi and Gdilkri for teachers in the District to ease them of accommodation problems.
