Kwahu Afram Plains North DCE Inspects Development Projects, Engages Communities on Government's Development Agenda

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Kwahu Afram Plains North, Hon. Kate Mawusi Babanawo, has undertaken a working visit to the communities of Ntonaboma and Bridge-Ano as part of efforts to monitor ongoing development projects and engage residents on the government's development agenda.

The visit, which took place on Friday, July 31, 2026, included an inspection of ongoing projects at Bridge-Ano and formed part of a broader series of community engagements across the district.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Babanawo said the exercise aligns with the vision of President John Dramani Mahama to expand social interventions and implement the 24-Hour Economy policy aimed at stimulating local economic growth, creating employment opportunities, and improving access to essential services, particularly in rural communities.

According to the DCE, the engagements are intended to provide residents with updates on development initiatives undertaken by the District Assembly, gather feedback from community members, and identify priorities that will support inclusive growth under the government's development agenda.

She commended the people of Ntonaboma and Bridge-Ano for their active participation, constructive contributions, and continued confidence in the Assembly's leadership and the government's commitment to improving the lives of citizens.

Hon. Babanawo also expressed appreciation to officials of the Kwahu Afram Plains North District Assembly and members of the constituency executives who accompanied her on the working tour.

She reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to sustained community engagement and equitable development, emphasizing that every community in the district would continue to benefit from government programmes and infrastructure projects aimed at improving livelihoods and promoting inclusive development.
