EJISU Assembly elects Kofi Ampofo Adjei as PM

The Ejisu Municipal Assembly has elected Mr. Kofi Ampofo Adjei as its Presiding Member for the new Assembly.

He was declared the winner after beating competition from Kwaku Ntim Twumasi after two rounds of voting.

Mr. Kofi Ampofo Adjei secured 28 votes whiles Kwaku Ntim Twumasi got 12 votes.

He was subsequently sworn-in by the municipal magistrate, His Worship Kwaku Baah – Frempong.

The PM was grateful to his colleagues and pledged to work with them as a team, be transparent as the mediator between them and the assembly, whiles giving them timely information on the start of projects in the respective communities; stressing situations where projects were commissioned and or grounds were broken for start of projects without the knowledge of the assembly members concerned will be a thing of the past; adding that the welfare of members will be among his top priorities.
