MCE presents street bulbs to assembly members

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu Mr. Samuel Oduro Frimpong has presented 600 street bulbs to the Assembly Members to improve visibility and security in their various electoral areas.

Each electoral area had 15 bulbs and government appointees had 5 bulbs.

Speaking after the presentation, the MCE acknowledged that the issue of streetlights in Ejisu had been of great concern hence the distribution to aid and improve visibility at night in the communities and prevent road crashes as well as reduce crime, among others.

Mr. Frimpong assured that more of the streetlights would be distributed in the coming days and urged Assembly members to engage the services of certified electrical technicians to fix and regularly maintain the street lights to last long.

He urged the Assembly Members to use the bulb for the purposes for which they were donated in order to make a good name for themselves and the Assembly.
