Mr. Samuel Oduro Frimpong, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), accompanied by heads of departments of the Assembly visited the Hwereso, Boankra and Akyawkrom communities.

The MCE appealed to the people to pay their taxes, especially the property rate so that the Assembly can develop the communities.

He assured them of the President’s readiness to fulfill all his campaign promises and also appealed to them to exercise restraints. He then assured the youth of employment at the proposed inland port at Boankra.

Mr. Oduro Frimpong appealed to all churches in the municipality to get search scanners and CCTV in and around their churches to scare terrorist attacks.

The people were told to call 999 if they see suspicious people or persons in their communities.

The Municipal Fire Commander also educated the people on terrorism, the types, the targeted people and the things they use to lure the youth to support their activities.

The Municipal Planning Officer also educated the people on the One House One toilet facility by the ministry of sanitation and environment for the Greater Kumasi Metropolis.
