Denkyembour residents educated on E-Levy
The Denkyembour District Information Services Department has undertaken an intensive public education campaign on the new Electronic Transaction Levy also known as the E-Levy in the district.

The campaign was aimed at making the public understand the dynamics of the E-levy and eliminate all misconceptions.
The sensitization campaign took place in some selected communities such asSakyikrom, Topremang, Apinamang, Dwenase, Boadua West, Boadua East, Sadams,Anweaso, Okumaning and Akim Wenchi.The rest include Boadua, Bamenase,Akwatia, Okumaning, GOPDC, Afiafiso, Fante Newtown, Anweaso, Alafia No1, AlafiaNo2, Alafia No3, Asubone, Dogbatse, GCD, Kusi, Takrowase, Soabe, Wenchi,Adaekrom and Charleskrom.
The team also toured some targeted churches and mosques to sensitize worshipers.
Some churches and mosques visited include; St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church and Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Akwatia, Living Word Assemblies of God Church in Boadua, Okumaning Presbyterian Church and Gospel Pillar Church in Gethsemane.
The team also toured the Akwatia Central Mosque, Kotokoli Zongo Mosque, Al-Farquan Mosque in Sadams and the Central Mosque in Boadua.
