Both tribes are commonly binned by one tradition despite the language barrier and that's the yearly celebration of Yam Festival of which the Nafana Tribe called it in their local dialect as "Somg33" while the Bonos also call it, "Munufie" all meaning

According to Nananom, the most worrying and pressing issue in the community is upgrading of their CHIPS compound into a health center or a polyclinic.
Other issue concerned to Nananom were the reshaping of Sampa-Jinini stretch of the roads which also links to the Tain District through Dorbor as well as the establishment of police station in the community of which according to Nananom, 5 acres of land has already been allocated for the project.
Nananom during their submission on health appealed to the DCE, Adane Ankomah to help them with a community day senior high school.
The DCE, however indicated that one of his major priority is to lift education in the district to its best and since Nananom during their welcome address said they have already allocated a plot of land for such project, he, the DCE will within his own capacity help their dreams come true.
