The assembly supported the PWDs with various items such as deep freezers, roofing sheets, popcorn machines, sewing machines, assorted food items (provisions) and goats for rearing to over 40 beneficiaries.

At a short ceremony held at the forecourt of the district assembly in Anfoega, the North Dayi District Chief Executive (DCE) Kudwo Edmund Attah admonished the beneficiaries to desist from going to the streets to beg for alms but rather use the items and funds given to them to help improve their lives.

He also used the occasion to encourage them not to feel sidelined by society but rather to use the opportunity given them as a starting point to achieve greater heights in society.

The DCE also urged their caregivers to accept their responsibilities as God-given and to do their best towards their upkeep.

The DCE noted that the Assembly has been consistent since 2017 and will continue to seek their welfare at all times.
