PWDs undergo entrepreneurship training

Some selected Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the Denkyembour District, have been trained on entrepreneurship skills to enable them embark on income generating businesses on their own.

The participants were trained on how to make perfumes, body splash and cologne as a means of business.

Mr. Bernard Abangiba, Head of Social Welfare Unit for the District, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude to participants for their dedication towards learning about entrepreneurship and encouraged them to frequently involve themselves in such training programs to further sharpen their skills.


The District Budget Analyst, Mr Eric Eshun, who doubles as a resource person mentioned that for anyone to be successful in any business venture, the person must be dedicated and willing to succeed.


He also added that, individuals must have a business plan and follow the plan accordingly in order to succeed.


According to him, regardless of how small a business may look like, it is always important to be fully committed to the work, in order to make a living out of it.
