GOMOA E: Afransi ICT center nears completion

The Assemblyman for Afransi, in the Gomoa West District in the Central Region, Dominic Ato Mensah has hailed government for the immense contribution towards development in the area.

The Assemblyman for Afransi in the Gomoa West District in the Central Region, Dominic Ato Mensah has hailed government for the immense contribution towards development in the area.

He said the NDC government has done comparably well as far as infrastructural development is concern, adding that most projects which have been on contract in the area were either completed or still ongoing.

He added that other unfinished projects which begun under former President Kuffour’s regime had also been completed by the present government.

Mr. Ato Mensah made this known when speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com to give accounts on the level of work done on the ultra modern post office and Information Communication Technology (ICT) center which started some few months ago. 

On the said project, the assemblyman however hailed government and the contractor for the extent of work done on the facility, adding that the project which began barely a year ago is currently at the roofing stage and expected to complete and be furnished soon.

He also revealed that tarring works has also commenced on the Afransi- Apam Junction road to improve transportation in the area. 

The Assemblyman indicated that the project which started about four days ago had reached an appreciable stage and expected to complete before 2013.
