Work will soon commence on an electricity extension project in the Dominase Electoral Area in the Gomoa East District to connect four communities to the national grid.

The beneficiary communities include Budatta Junction, Gomoa Dapenin, Dominase Junction and Nyamebekyere.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the assemblyman for the area, Amos Asiedu Kuma said the assurance came after writing  series of proposals to the assembly, Ministry of Energy and the Volta River Authority (VRA).

However in other related issues, the assemblyman further disclosed that his electoral area is among the few communities that are expected to benefit from pipe borne water project in the district.

He said works on the project had already started and expected to complete before December this year.
