The Ho West District Assembly is seriously embarking on moves to set- up the platform in engaging community members of Tsito over the management of the Tsito market which is currently under the control of the community.

The Assembly is contending to make claims over the facility and bring it directly under the control of the Assembly like the other markets in the district which are similarly managed by the Assembly.

The issue was strongly discussed in a recent sitting held by the Assembly at Dzolo Kpuita, when the Executive Committee after a concerted discussion came up with a proposition to as a matter of urgency form a committee that will front this move in the area.

It however named persons like, Hon. Emmanuel Bedzrah, MP for Ho West constituency, Kpe Amegbor, Assemblyman for Tsito, Jonathan Agbeka and the District Finance Officer,Mr. Maxwell Dei-Kumah for consideration by the Assembly to form the committee that will deal with the matter on-board.

Therefore the committee following the consent by the Assembly is expected to meet with the Chief, Elders and Market queens of Tsito for thorough discussions on the object of bringing the market under the control of the Assembly to enable it undertake the revenue collection at the market for the purpose of improving its revenue mobilization.
