Road infrastructure has been a major concern to the Nanumba South District Assembly in the bid to push massive development in the area.

On account of this, the Assembly together with government is currently embarking on moves to enhance some of the roads in the district.

Wulensi-Chamba road is being constructed at the moment to enhance transportation on that particular stretch in the area.

The District Chief Executive for the area, Alhaji Seidu Amidu who spoke to Ghanadistricts.com on the project has hinted that work is progressing steadily.

He indicated that the road is even having to its credit a steel bridge and a total of 22 other culverts being built on it to guarantee its quality.

He explained that this will help to improve the standard of the road and also help to secure maximum safety on it.

The DCE further observed that enhancing the road network in the area will pave way to boost trade and commerce, which will result in economic development of the district.
