N DAYI: Assembly commissions Gboxome E.P. sch block

A six unit classroom block has been commissioned for use by pupils of Aveme Gboxome E.P. Primary school in the North Dayi District of the Volta Region.

Disclosing this at the assembly’s second ordinary meeting, District Chief Executive for the area, Mr. Stephen Timinca disclosed that the project brings to about 19 classroom blocks completed within three and half year of the NDC Administration.

He added that works currently were at various stages of completion on twelve (12) similar projects aimed at improving access to quality education in the district.

Touching on other educational projects, Mr. Timinca noted that the district has also benefited significantly from some government interventions such as 400-bed dormitory each for Anfoega Senior High (ANFOESEC), Vakpo Senior High Technical (VASEC) schools.

The rest he noted include, a dining hall complex, Administration and Library complex for ANFOESEC and another 12 unit classroom block for VASEC and 6 unit classroom block for VASTECH.

He continued that a total of four teachers’ bungalows at Anfoega Senior High School, Vakpo Senior High School, Tsorxor D/A Primary and vakpo Dunyo D/A Primary Schools whilst procurement process is completed for the work to commence on the construction of 4-unit bungalow at Aveme-Dzeme.

The DCE therefore took the opportunity to campaign massively for a second term for H.E. John Dramani Mahama, adding that his track record in the last three and half years of steering the affairs of the country has been unprecedented.
