Mr. Tony Anthony Agblevor, Technical Officer of VRA RTF in handing over the project stated that the project is strategically given to the Wusuta community to help put a stop to the frequent exit of teachers when posted due to the rural nature of the community which has less accommodation to host the teachers. This, he said, was affecting teaching and learning activities in the community school.

He assured the people that, the Trust Fund Secretariat is ready and committed to respond to the cries of the re-settlers in the various resettlement communities as several projects are currently ongoing in most of their resettlement communities in the country.

He tasked the resettlers to own the expensive funded project as he advised the beneficiary institution which is the Ghana Education Service to take good care of the project to benefit the next generations.

Meanwhile, teachers who use the facility will be paying a monthly fee of GHc 20.00 to help maintain the facility.

Mr. Wisdom Adzangbe, on behalf of the District Chief Executive, Kudjoh Attah expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the current leadership of the Trust Fund for responding to the infrastructure needs of the resettlers in the Wusuta community in his district, and appealed to the Trust Fund to continue to do more for the resettlement communities in his area, since the place is challenged with developmental projects and Government cannot do it alone.

Mr. Geshon Konglo, the Headmaster of the school appreciated the DCE for his efforts in getting the project done for the teachers and the community at large, and also promised to help the school take very good care of the facility.
