Queen mother donates CHPS compound to Abofrem Community
Nana Nkrumah Adasa III, a queen mother and philanthropist has built and handed over a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound to the people of Abofrem in the Ahyiresu electoral area.

The Queen mother shared her joy for giving back to her community. “In life, we all depend on others to survive, that is how God has designed nature” she stated. And beseeched the community and the staff who will be working at the facility to make the place very welcoming, accommodating and above all maintain the place in good condition.
On behalf of the Atwima Mponua District Assembly and the government, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area Mr. Isaac Kofi Marfo, appreciated the kind gesture expressed by Nana Nkrumah Adasah III who had initially built a 3-unit classroom block for the same community and called on all stakeholders to support her in everything she does, that will encourage her to continue to come to the aid of Abofrem and the District as a whole.
Mr. Marfo reiterated the maintenance culture which is very essential in keeping the CHPS Compound in good shape always.
The DCE made a donation of 200 bags of cement and other building materials in aid of the construction of a nurses’ bungalow.
