Assemblyman donates to Anwiafutu Health Centre

The Assemblyman for the Anwiafutu Electoral Area, Mr. Kaakyire Kwaku Owusu, has donated three hospital beds to the Anwiafutu Health Center in the Atwima Mponua District to help improve community healthcare services in the area.

According to him, the donation is aimed at helping alleviate the difficulties that patients go through while accessing healthcare at the facility.

He stated that the three beds are insufficient, and thus called for support from individuals, institutions, and the government to augment what has been presented.

Mrs. Abigail Konadu, the facility's midwife on behalf of the Anwiafutu Health Center's management, thanked the Assemblyman and his entourage for their support and called for more of such gestures.

She advocated for the expansion of the maternity ward to help alleviate the stress they are experiencing.

Meanwhile, the beds were funded by the assembly-member with support from the Anwiafutu committee members.
