Atwima Mponua Health Directorate receives items to combat COVID-19

The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency in the Ashanti region Mr. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has donated several health items to the Atwima Mponua Health Directorate as part of strategic measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The items included dustbins, Veronica buckets, hand washing bowls, hand sanitizers, facemasks, tissue papers, gloves and rubbing alcohol.

The District Chief Executive, of the area Mr.William Darko together with some constituency party executive, made the presentation on behalf of the Member of Parliament.

The Administrator of the Health Directorate, Mr Dominic Opoku thanked the Minister for the gesture and promised to put the donations into good use to benefit the people of Atwima Mponua.

The DCE told the health directorate to distribute the items to benefit all health centers and CHPS Compound within the district.

He added that plans are far advanced as the MP is putting together resources to procure enough medications to support his constituents in this trying moment
