Ga Central finally sees asphalt on their roads

This is part of the first face of the asphalt laying program of the contractor which is scheduled to undertake a total asphaltic surface of about 23.4 kilometers throughout the Kwashiman- Ofankor road whilst the other surface dressing is about 55 kilometers.

According to the Municipal Chief Executive, Emmanuel Lamptey, it would take the contractor a few days to complete the asphaltic stretch.

Mr. Emmanuel Lamptey called on the residents in the municipality to cooperate with the contractor, to enable them to take their time to do quality work on the road to ensure that they have a long life span.

He also called on the Ga Central urban roads unit to endeavor to do maintenance work on the road once they are completed, admonishing that they should not wait till serious damage occurs before they decide to work on them.
