"11 wisemen are behind changfan operations in Kotokuom" - elders declare

Opinion leaders, traditional authorities and indigenes of Kotokuom, a community in Atwima Mponua have accused some youth in the community as the kingpins in the activities of Changfan operations in the Offin River.

This was made known when the District Chief Executive, Isaac Kofi Marfo, together with the District Mining Committee, the Police, National Intelligence Bureau met with Nana Osei Kwame III, the Atwima Agogohene, who is the overlord of that catchment area at a mini durbar in the community.

Rolling the dice on the issues, Nana Osei Kwame III was very livid on the happenings in his community.

He pointed accusing fingers on his caretaker traditional authorities as being complicite in the illegal mining operations.
