Mr. Gyan highlighted the pivotal role information centers play in community development. He urged the operators to formalize their businesses by registering and renewing their operational licenses to ensure smooth and lawful operations. Additionally, he proposed the formation of an association among the operators to boost their bargaining power and enhance their collective efficacy.

To foster greater community engagement, Mr. Gyan requested that information centers broadcast revenue collection jingles every morning and late evening. He emphasized that this initiative is crucial for mobilizing revenue across the 537 communities within the district, aligning with the centers' corporate social responsibilities.

The information center operators welcomed this initiative and agreed to support it on a pro bono basis. Mr. Gyan instructed the Information Officer and the Finance Officer to procure and distribute pen drives to the centers. These pen drives will contain the necessary jingles and messages to be broadcasted, ensuring uniformity and consistency in the communication effort.

This collaborative effort marks a significant step towards enhancing the district's revenue base, facilitating development projects, and fostering a sense of community responsibility among the information center operators.

Key officials present at the meeting included Mr. Solomon Owusu (Revenue Head), Ebenezer Antwi Boasiako (Finance Officer), Mr. Agyenim Boateng (Environmental Head), Emmanuel Nkum (Procurement Officer), Clinton Achana (Budget Officer), and, District Information Officer, Jephthah Kwame Sarfo. Their presence underscored the collective commitment of the District Assembly to this innovative approach to revenue collection and community development.
