Mr. Kwaku Boamah, the zonal chair of the association thanked the graduands for passing through the drills in their trade for three (3years), defying all odds and coming out with flying colors. “You have made your families, your bosses, your communities and everybody proud”, he posited.

The Regional Vice chair of the association Mr. Thomas Opoku Damptey called on the DCE and the MP to help complete the training center for the association to help train more hands. He also called on government to help recruit many of his colleagues to teach at the various TVET centres. This he believes will make their trade very attractive for all and sundry.

Mr. Jephthah Sarfo who represented the DCE and the MP in his keynote address charged the graduands to be above their contemporaries. He noted that, truth and diligence brings loyal customers. “ I urge you to be different from others who disappoint their clients and that will be a game changer in your lives”, he noted.

He further noted that the Hon. Isaac Asiamah, the Member of Parliament has lobbied for a TVET Centre at Otaakrom which seeks to expand existing infrastructure and enrol more students. He advised others to emulate the gains chalked by their countrymen and join the bandwagon of learning a trade that will benefit themselves and their families.

The graduands were made up of 36 females and 1 male. The Nyinahin zone begins from Nkroma Nkwanta to Kensakrom.
