The gathering served as a crucial platform for the DCE to introduce himself to the dedicated workforce of the Atwima Mponua District Assembly, gain a comprehensive understanding of departmental functions, and crucially, articulate his forward-looking vision and mission for the district.

In his address, Hon. Issahak underscored the vital role of Assembly staff as permanent state employees, emphasizing the paramount importance of national loyalty and dedication to duty. He called for a collective commitment to hard work and meaningful contributions towards national development. "The peace and cohesion we currently enjoy within the Assembly is a priceless asset and should be nurtured for the progress of our district and the nation at large," he stated, highlighting the value of internal harmony.

Acknowledging the diversity of political perspectives, the DCE firmly asserted that the government's paramount interests must always take precedence. He urged staff to be proactive agents of change, stating, "Let us all bring something valuable to the table. You are agents of change. Let us overcome our challenges and produce positive outcomes for our people."

Addressing concerns about workplace discipline, Hon. Issahak lamented instances of lateness and absenteeism. He issued a directive to the District Coordinating Director to implement stringent measures aimed at fostering efficiency, honesty, and diligence. "We must be professional. Let us all be punctual and committed to duty if we are to see any real change," he implored.

Furthermore, he encouraged a culture of humility and continuous learning, advising staff to seek guidance and learn from one another. "Swallow your pride, ask questions, and learn from each other. Impact making is my hallmark, and I expect results," he declared.

In a significant announcement, Hon. Issahak confirmed the release of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) and unveiled a robust pipeline of developmental projects slated for execution within the next year. These include the construction of two CHPS compounds, a state-of-the-art 24-Hour Model Market Complex equipped with a Police Station, Hospital, and Women’s Bank, and the establishment of two new Basic Schools, among other vital projects.

He pledged his commitment to ensuring the timely and complete execution of these projects, aiming to significantly elevate the standard of living within the district.

Hon. Issahak also urged staff to actively engage communities in understanding the importance and application of DRIP machines, highlighting their potential to boost agricultural productivity and improve road networks.

On the district's economic potential, he noted Atwima Mponua's rich endowment of Bauxite and Gold. He revealed ongoing engagements with potential investors to explore large-scale mining opportunities that would yield substantial benefits for both the district and the nation.

Furthermore, Hon. Issahak proudly reported that electricity coverage in the district is nearing completion, expressing his determination to achieve 100% access to power for all communities.

Concluding his address, Hon. Ibrahim Issahak reiterated his strong aspiration to leave a lasting legacy. "I want to leave an indelible mark in the hearts of Mponuaman and posterity," he affirmed, rallying the staff for unity, dedication, and teamwork to achieve the district's developmental aspirations.
