Youth advised to desist from social vices
The Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (African Office) in collaboration with Asokwa Municipal Department of Social Development and Muslim Family Counseling Services has organized a public education programme at Atonsu Bokro Last-Stop in the Asokwa Municipality for community members.

Some issues that were discussed include free legal advice and representation services, Case Tracking System and Legal Rights, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) among others.
The District Police Commander, in his presentation, urged the youth of the area, to shun drug abuse and other negative vices.
He said drug abuse and other social vices had negatively affected the country and therefore called for a collective fight to nip the vice in the bud in the interest of peace and for the overall development of the country.
He advised the authorities to intensify efforts in the fight against the menace for the betterment of the society.
Key community stakeholders like Chiefs and Queen Mothers of Atonsu, District Police Commander, Zongo Chiefs, Municipal Social Welfare Director and Assembly Members were invited to honour the program and participate.
