This was after the minister had paid a working visit to assembly.
Mr Ashitey also ceased the opportunity to commission two brand new Toyota Hilux pickups which were procured by the Assembly with their Internally Generated Fund (IGF) to help improve revenue mobilization and monitoring.
Mr Ashitey in his remarks commended the Assembly for the measures being put in place to enhance revenue mobilization since its establishment, adding that "for three months old Assembly to be able to mobilize enough funds to buy such vehicles calls for commendation.”
Mr. Ashitey also took time to inspect an on-going 4-Storey office complex for the assembly.
He expressed his pleasant surprise by the rate at which the Assembly was moving and asked others to emulate it.
On his part, MCE of the area, Mr. Joseph Nyarni promised to complete the project in order to pave way for the assembly to relocate before the yearly rent advance expires at their current premises.
"I am taking a cue from my President". "The president is in hurry and l am also in hurry to develop my Municipality he added.
When asked how he managed to initiate the numerous developments within this short period, the MCE answered that, “previous IGFs of the assembly were used for recurrent expenditure but upon my assumption of office I have redirected it to be used for project”.
