18 Trainees receive certificates in YouStart programme
The District Coordinating Director, Mr Okrah Thomas Kwame has presented certificates to 18 trainees of the YouStart program at a closing ceremony held at the ICT Center at Dompoase in the Adansi North District.

YouStart is a Government of Ghana initiative to support the youth build commercially viable businesses to create a million jobs in the economy.
The DCD who did the presentation on behalf of the DCE, Hon. Kusi Kwaku Eric congratulated the participants for the hard work throughout the 16 weeks of training and advised them to put into practice the knowledge they have acquired to make the best out of the grant government will be giving them.
He emphasized that, they register their business because it is the very first step that opens the door of opportunities for small businesses to transact business with the District Assembly.
Facilitator for the training, Mr. Caleb Yeboah, stated that the participants have been trained in proposal writing, among other entrepreneurship knowledge. He further added these knowledge when put into practice will grow their businesses and enable them to employ others to reduce unemployment in the District and the country at large.
The Business Advisory Center Director, Mr. David Oduro in his closing remark said the 18 trainees out of the 385 applicants have been well groomed in the area of entrepreneurship and he believes that they will make good use of the monetary grant to uplift the image of the District and bring about development.
The participants who went through the training to the final stage were grateful for the YouStart initiative by the government. They pledged to make themselves useful for their communities.
