DCE for Jaman North commissions 20 seater toilet and borehole for Kokoa

The DCE of Jaman North, Adane Ankomah has on September 25, 2018, commissioned a 20-seater KVIP and a borehole facility for the people of Kokoa in his district.

Nananom of Kokoa led by Nana Kwadwo Masah chief of the community who also double as the Acting president of Sampa Traditional Council congratulated the DCE and the NPP government for such a tremendous work done.

He said, the community over the past years has suffered to get such facilities now that the NPP government through the DCE and the assembly has provided them, he will make sure they are being used wisely.

He mentioned of some projects done by the assembly in the community.



Among such projects were, the completion of maternity block, provision of 40 bags of cement for the construction of the chiefs palace, reshaping of roads in the community, provision of street lights, mechanization of boreholes as well as the construction of the 20- seater KVIP and others.

He however appealed to the DCE and the assembly to help the community with kindergarten school block, establishment of teacher training college, construction of access roads with gutters in the community; and education on the payment of property rates in the community and its environs.



The said facilities were awarded to two constructors. The borehole was constructed by Ediffam Enterprise whiles the 20 seater KVIP was also constructed by Petmat Construction Limited.

Among the people that joined the DCE to community were, Mr.Godwin Djanzi-Coordinating Director, Mr. Sarfo Patrick-District Engineer, Anane Ebenezer-constituency NPP secretary and Madam Grace Takyiwa-constituency NPP Women Organiser.
