Kwahu East Assembly holds second ordinary meeting

Kwahu East District Assembly held its second Ordinary Meeting of the fourth section, the meeting was presided by Barffour Baffour Yeboah Asuamah Presiding Member in the Assembly.

The Distict Chief Executive of Kwahu East District Assembly, Mr. Isaac Agyapong, in his Address, expressed sincere gratitude the President of the republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for fullfilling the promise made to the people of Kwahu East during 2016 Election campaign.

The principal thing he talked about was the second phase of the rural electrification, and stated that the following communities will get electricity before end of 2019.

They are Aweano Tokorom, Hyewohoden, Bonkrase, Brifa Onyemso, Aseaseso, Suntre, Atuobi Boama, and Sadan.

Mr. Agyapong, used the opportunity to brief the Assembly members on the state of developmental projects started last year where he said after monitoring they are all in completion state, though number of them have been completed and commissioned.

Assembly Members from the Areas who have benefited from the Rural Electrification Project Phase 1 (Miaso, Oworobong No. 1 &2, Tweaa, Nkwantanang, Mota, Nkwakaasem Electoral Area) expressed gratitude to the Member of Parliament in the area, Mr. Bryan Acheampong and DCE for making their electoral areas see light since the setting up of their towns.
