Kwahu East DCE joins Green Ghana initiative

The District Chief Executive of Kwahu East District Assembly , Isaac Agyapong has planted trees at Abetifi, the district capital as part of the Green Ghana Project.

Mr. Isaac Agyapong called on residents of the District to come out in their numbers and rally around the Green Ghana Project to plant the over three thousand (3000) seedlings which has been allocated to the District under the initiative.

The DCE was joined by students from various Senior High Schools and Nananom to help plant the trees.

He was optimistic that the initiative will help ensure the beautification of Kwahu east and provide shades along pedestrian walkways, greening open spaces as well as mitigate the effects of climate change.

Also Present were Nananom, Assembly members, Teachers, pupils of Nana Ponkor JHS and the media.
