Kintampo North Confirms Isaac Baffoe Ameyaw as MCE

The Kintampo Municipal Assembly in the Bono East region has confirmed the President’s nominee, Mr. Isaac Baffoe Ameyaw as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area.

His confirmation, which took place the Municipal Assembly Hall, was graced by the attendance of many dignitaries including the Bono East Regional Minister, the former and present Members of Parliament, outgoing MCE, Regional Commanders of the Ghana Police Services and security forces, party executives among others.

The confirmation process was conducted and supervised by the Kintampo Electoral Commission officers.

After the voting process, all 65 Assembly members voted “YES” representing 100 percent endorsement for the MCE nominee.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Ameyaw expressed his gratitude to the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Assembly members for the confidence reposed in him, adding that “I affirm my determination to serve the interest of our people, I wish to also and equally invite the support, cooperation and guidance of the regional minister, Coordinating Council, heads, Member Of Parliament among others to help him succeed”.

Mr. Baffoe expressed his gratitude to all and he indicated his commitment to serve the people of Kintampo Municipality without discrimination.

He added, the municipality is confronted with a lot of developmental challenges; hence the need to “unit and work together to improve on the standards of living of the people”.

The Regional Minister, on his part promised to support the MCE to be able to carry out his mandate.
