Information Communication Technology (ICT) has over the years gained much roots in developed nations as well as developing ones like Ghana.

It is in line with this that an ICT project will very soon be commissioned at Manhean, an electoral area in the Ga West Municipality in Accra.

The project seeks to provide a platform for teachers, school children and the entire people within the electoral area to communicate with the rest of the world at just a click of a button.

In an interview with the Assemblyman for the Manhean Electoral Area, Mr. Solomon A. Oblie said the project which was begun last year is currently at the lintel level whilst adding that the project is expected to be completed before the end of this year.

He said the ICT project will also include an information center in order to create a hub for information to be disseminated within and around the area.

Mr. Oblie added that the completion of the project would give schools within the area the opportunity to learn ICT subject practically in schools.
