The Assembly member for Daboya West electoral area, Akwesi Frimpong has called for improved demarcation for a new settlement in his area, consisting of Sawaba and Zegbali, thus appealed to the assembly and the Town and Country Planning to swiftly intervene and improve access and movement in the area.

He was worried that in the event of any emergency, it could spell disaster because there were no proper demarcations to boost access through the area.

He was then quick to add that, he had lately called the attention of the assembly on the issue, who assured to resolve it by the end of the year.

Meanwhile he said these areas had no access to electricity and as well are inundated with severe water problems.

With regards to the water situation he recounted that it was almost a problem across board as the whole area consisting of 7 communities, could only boast of four boreholes which all the time results in undue pressure on the few existing ones.

He said this makes life difficult for the inhabitants in these areas, as they lack these basic social amenities, hence pleaded with the assembly and other benevolent organizations to come to the aid of the deprived communities under his area and improve the water situation for them.
