In order to shore up quality healthcare delivery to be able to boost the health system across-board, the Member of Parliament for Daboya/Mankarigu constituency, Hon. Baani Abudu Nelson has indicated his preparedness to support give a facelift to Mankarigu health centre.
 
The MP’s plans will entail undertaking a serious rehabilitation of the facility to retool it and to enable it meet the challenging health concerns of the people of the area.

Mankarigu health centre is relatively a major health facility serving residents and people from the surrounding villages in healthcare services, but the MP has bemoaned the condition of the centre, adding that it needs serious rehabilitation.

He claimed the facility has never received any better renovation over the period since it started operations in the year 1995.

He intimated he cannot leave the facility to its fate especially when it requires intervention that could influence its services in the area, as a result of this he is making earnest moves to ensure that some of the infrastructure in very debilitating condition would be enhanced.

The MP revealed the move will practically be implemented by the end of this year.
