Seth Frank Alifui, District Chief Executive for the kadjebi District in the Volta Region has been relieved of his post.

Mr Seth Alifui has been the Chief Executive for the district for the past four years having been appointed by the late president John Atta Mills in 2009.

However, a directive from the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr. Akwasi Oppong Ofosu has asked Mr Alifui and some 32 other Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to hand over to their regional ministers and vacate their post.
 
As the chief executive of the district, Mr Alifui made a lot of contributions to the development of the district in all sectors.

He will be remembered for achievements like:
 

• Upgrading of Kadjebi clinic into a hospital with additional infrastructure including male and female wards and a modern theather which are nearing completion.
• Strengthening sister-city cooperation with accompaning benefits
• Completion of Street naming exercise at the district
• Leading the assembly to stands tall in sanitation management
• Elimination of a number of schools under trees; among several others which the citizens stand to continue to benefit from.
