KNW: DCE focuses on local economy following re-appointment

Mr. Thomas Dalu Addah, District Chief Executive for the Kassena Nankana West District has said that he will intensify and promote local economy development following his re-appointment as the DCE for the area.

Mr. Thomas Dalu Addah, District Chief Executive for the Kassena Nankana West District has said that he will intensify and promote local economy development following his re-appointment as the DCE for the area.

He reiterated that in the next four year mandate as the Chief Executive, he would lead the assembly to fashion out new ideas and strategies that will help it open up the tourist sites within the district for the purpose of wooing investors to the area.

In an interview with ghanadistricts.com after his re-appointment as the DCE, Mr Dalu Addah noted that it was welcoming news for him to be considered by President Mahama once again and expressed his delight for being maintained as the DCE for the district.
 
He said he will ensure that the assembly will build up the momentum on infrastructure development in the form of more housing facilities such as teachers’ quarters, nurses’ quarters and the rest so it will enable sustain the interest of more workers to stay up in the district.

He also indicated that economic areas like agro-processing and the guinea fowl project started in the district will be given equal attention and revamped to aid grow the economy of the district.

He claimed more attention on the road infrastructure has a high multiplier effect on the economy, thereby the assembly will strive to partner relevant agencies to improve the road network in the area.
