Mr. Dominic Aboziah has garnered two thirds majority of the Kassena Nankana West assembly to maintain his position as the Presiding Member for the assembly.

The middle-aged man working with the Ghana Education Service(GES) in the district was re-elected for the second term and will ostensibly conduct the affairs of the assembly in the next four years.

Mr Thomas Dalu Addah who revealed this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com said the approval of the PM happened in a recent ad hoc sitting by the assembly in the area.

In other related development, Mr Dalu Addah has hailed the intervention of government and other parastatal organizations in assisting expand accessibility to potable water in the district.

He said regardless of the fact that the district covers a large area, it had been able to deploy standard water facilities like boreholes to very deprived areas which never had access to boreholes or any potable water.

He observed that there has been a tremendous improvement in the move to secure the expansion of boreholes but was quick to add that there were still more room for improvement.

He therefore called on well meaning Ghanaians and NGO’s to assist government reach deprived areas or communities with potable water.
