The Sene District Assembly has moved to curb the rate of unemployment in the area.

To this end, the Assembly in conjuction with Rural Enterprise Programme has assisted sixty youth to gain employable skills.

They were trained as beauticians, welders, carpenters, hairdressers and masons.

The Assembly assisted by way of skill training as well as paid eighty percent of total cost of examination fee for participants to take part in the National Vocational and Technical Institute (NVTI) examination for which they were awarded certificates.
