The Sene District in collaboration with the Rural Enterprise Project Ghana has held a workshop to advance bee keeping among the youth in the area.

The workshop was aimed at helping the youth gain useful skills in the management of bees as well as handling the products for marketing in order to mazimize profit.

According to the organisers, this move will also keep the youth from indulging in illicit acts which may ruin their lives.

Participants were taken through how to use honey for several purposes such as facial cream, wax, hair pomade and "Prekese" juice (a local drink).

They expressed gratitude to the organizers and pledged to put what they have studied to good use.
