The Sene District is potentially a tourism destination to both local and foreign nationals who wish to visit the greenish region of Ghana in the Brong Ahafo Region.

The Sene District is potentially a tourism destination to both local and foreign nationals who wish to visit the greenish region of Ghana in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Sene has approximately 30 islands within the district. Popularly among them are the Sakpati, Ningo, Agege, Burai, Nana Wayo, Sipomu, Old Nkomi and Agravi which could be developed to make Sene district the most attractive tourist destination of the entire Brong
Ahafo Region of Ghana.

The Assembly has decided to channel its resources into the development of the tourist sites which could serve as revenue generation for the district.

Sene District has identified Digya National Park as a serious game resort that could bring job opportunities to the people in and around the area and is making efforts to ensure the park assumes it potential in the tourism map.

The Digya National Park which is a home to a wide range of animal and floral species extends to other parts of the district as a potential tourist site.

Nevertheless, the Sene district is poised to winning all prospective investors to visit the district to expand the tourism frontiers of the region to enhance vibrant economic activities for massive development of the district.

The entire people of the district including the traditional rulers, administrative heads and the local folks are poised in making the tourism dream come true.
