Bibiani MCE commends government for good educational policies
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai in the Western Region Hon. Alfred Amoah has embarked on a day working visit to about five schools within the Bibiani Municipality to monitor enrolment of fresh pupils as school resume for 2018/2019 academic year.

The occasion which is termed as "My first day at school" saw the (MCE) together with the Municipal Director of Education madam Emefa Boateng, the Municipal Information Officer (MIO), Mr. Francis Ghansah and other representatives of Ghana Education Service (GES) tour some schools in the Municipality to give words of encouragement and also welcome the newly admitted pupils at the basic school especially kindergarten and primary pupils to refresh them with an assorted drinks and biscuits.
Others received teaching and learning materials such as pencils, sharpeners and erasers as a package of motivation from the government outfit.
Some of the schools visited were Dansokrom D/A primary, Chira D/A primary, Surano 'B' Catholic School and Methodist primary school all at Sefwi Bekwai.
Speaking with the media, The (MCE) Commended the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo - Addo for extended his good educational policies such as Free Senior High School (SHS), School Feeding Program, Capitation grant and above all the introduction of double track system to the good of Bibiani and its environs.
On the issue of educational infrastructures development, he opined the Assembly readiness to support communities with such structures problems with building materials to assist raised temporary structures while the Assembly plan to build a permanent one, since kindergarten projects were not captured in the main stream until recently.
On his part, the Municipal Director of Education says, their hands are already full with (38) schools suffering from such problems and thanked the Assembly for their effort to tackle structure problems which could be the major cause of low enrollment in most schools visited.
She, however, cautioned parents to refrain from engaging their ward's in farming activities during school hours in order to guarantee them a brighter future.
