The two projects are expected to bring quality healthcare and essential services closer to residents of Aseney?, Yeboahkrom and surrounding communities.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Municipal Health Director noted that the scope and standard of the facilities went beyond what would ordinarily be expected of a CHPS compound, describing the infrastructure and facilities provided as significant support for healthcare delivery in the two communities.

The Aseneye Health Centre was officially opened by the Krontihene of the Akyem Kotoku Traditional Area, Obrempong Dr. Gyamfi Saforo Kyere II, while the Yeboahkrom CHPS Compound and mechanised borehole were commissioned by the Odikro of Yeboahkrom, Nana Kobina Mensah Yeboah I.

As part of efforts to support the effective operation of the facilities, the Assembly Member for the Aseneye Electoral Area donated a set of computers to assist with administrative and operational activities at the health centre. The computers are expected to improve record-keeping and contribute to efficient service delivery.

Mr. George Mawuko also made significant commitments towards the development of the two facilities. He pledged 30 bags of cement to support external beautification and improvement works at the Aseneye Health Centre and promised to provide all the mattresses required for the Yeboahkrom CHPS Compound.

The MCE commended the gesture, noting that the contributions would help make the facilities more functional and conducive for both healthcare workers and residents.

He also praised the people of Yeboahkrom for providing chairs and tables for the health facility through their own efforts, describing it as a demonstration of community ownership and commitment to development.

He encouraged other communities within the municipality to emulate the example by contributing, within their means, towards the development and maintenance of projects in their respective areas.

Hon. Solomon Brako Kusi reaffirmed the Birim Central Municipal Assembly's commitment to ensuring that every Electoral Area has access to a health facility.

According to him, the initiative forms part of the Assembly's broader efforts to bring healthcare services closer to residents, particularly those in communities where access to healthcare has traditionally been challenging.

The MCE expressed appreciation to the President, John Dramani Mahama, for the government's efforts towards expanding access to essential public infrastructure and improving the wellbeing of communities across the country.
