DCE accounts to electorates
The Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Assembly has as part of its efforts to ensure transparency and accountability organized a press briefing on the highlight and account to the people about some successes chalked by the Assembly since 2017.

The Deputy Central Regional Minister, Thomas Adjei Baffour noted, that the Ministry was embarking on this press briefing so that the District and Municipal Chief Executives can better account to the people on achievements of the government since it took office.
He added that the briefing was also to help better inform Ghanaians about various government policies and programmes and its impact in communities.
District Chief Executive of the area, Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi gave a presentation on the achievement of the NPP government since 2017 in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa district and the impact it has had on the community.
The DCE's presentation to the gathering narrowed in on some major developments in the district after assuming the position as DCE of the district.
He mentioned the construction of toilet facilities for community schools, removal of garbage dump from inappropriate sites, construction of classroom blocks, distribution of desks, motorbikes to circuit supervisors, scholarship programs offered to some tertiary continuing students as some successes achieved so far.
On health, the DCE added that, the Assembly provided furniture and electricity to various Community Health Planning Service (CHPs) compounds to help improve healthcare in the area.
Touching on some achievement in the Agric sector, he again revealed that the Assembly has distributed a sizeable number of palm seedlings, introduced mechanized farming, and also distributed motorbikes to extension officers in the area.
Other achievements include; electricity extension, street lights, among others.
