President pays working visit to Twifo/Atti-Morkwa
The President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Thursday, 20th August 2020, paid a working visit to the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District.

Delivering their welcome speech, Oberempong Appiah Nuamah II (Omanhene of Twifo Traditional Council), and Nana Kwesi Kenin IV (Omanhene of Atti-Morkwa Traditional Council) both commended the President for delivering on his promises. Nana Kwesi Kenin IV, however, pleaded with the President to consider NABCO trainees in future recruitments as well as the reshaping of the Twifo Praso-Assin Fosu as it’s in a bad state.
On his part, the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwesi Amoako Attah, in response to the request for the reshaping of the Twifo Praso-Assin Fosu road, recalled that the contract had already been awarded of which the contractor had already reported to the site and has commenced work.
He also added that the Central Region would have their fair share of road constructions within the tenure of office of the President. He finally, recommended the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for another four (4) year term as President.
The President, in his speech, thanked the people for their massive support and also introduced the Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for the New Patriotic Party for the Constituency, Hon. Ebenezer Obeng Dwamena and urged the people to vote for him in the upcoming elections.
The President later cut the sod for the construction of a concrete bridge over the Pra River which links Twifo Praso to Dunkwa –On-Offin and also inspected the progress of work on the ongoing construction of a new District Hospital which was due for commissioning this October 2020.
