Mmaabaasa to get modern day CHPS compound
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Twifo Ati-Mokwa, Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi on has cut sod for the construction of a modern Community Health Planning Service (CHPS) compound for the people of Mmaabaasa.

At a short sod cutting ceremony, the DCE noted, that government is bent on delivering on its promises, adding that evenly distribution of infrastructure to the various communities is a major priority to this current administration.
He however advised the people to exercise patience as their grievances would soon receive the necessary attention by the Assembly. He advised the community to fully devote their time and energy to help the contractor.
Speaking further, Mr Agyemang-Nyantakyi also revealed that, government has awarded the community’s road to a contractor who will soon start work on the project.
The representative for the Bremmed Company Limited (contractor),Mr. Alfred Dadson, indicated that the project is expected to be completed within six months.
According to him, the CHPS compound which is one of the modern structures and one of its kind in the district, includes delivery room, two bedrooms with washrooms and a kitchen each, recovery room, a records room, stores, three (3) washrooms for the patients, an injection room and a consulting room.
He added that there is also nurses quarters to mitigate accommodation of nurses would be posted to the area.
The Chief of the town Nana Kofi Afful II, thanked the DCE for considering Mmaabaasa community with such project but appealed to him to speed up work on their road.
