He admitted that, the decision for a magazine at this very moment was appropriate because;

It will open up the Municipality to a lot of developmental opportunities and create jobs for the Youth.

The magazine will reduce cost and risks of residents traveling to Wa and Kumasi for maintenance.

It will facilitate easy collection, compliance of taxes and increase the Assembly Internal Generated Fund (IGF).

It will decongest the town for the Assembly to redesign for modern developments and open more internal roads.

In this regard, the MCE has taken further steps to meet landowners from Jirapa-Baazu who are willing to release some acreage of land for the project establishment.

The engagement was fruitful and another meeting has been scheduled in the next two weeks to deliberate more on the internal arrangements for payment and subsequently the Assembly taking possession of the land.

Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri, appealed to all mechanics living in Jirapa and beyond to cooperate with the Assembly for a successful establishment of the project and move to site when completed.
