SODA donates to fire victim

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Shai Osudoku, Mr. Daniel Teye Akuffo has donated some items to Madam Sarah Aryettey, a victim whose house was gutted by fire at Dorwuyumu.

Items including Mattress, box of cooking oil, Bucket, Mosquito net, bags of Rice, Bowls, and mosquito coil were presented to her.

The DCE during the presentation indicated that the gesture by the Assembly is geared towards helping the victims to make a fresh start in life following the tragedy that struck the household.

He said the Assembly is obliged to assist as they make efforts to make a new beginning. “We are all aware of the disaster that happened to you and we cannot ignore you in these trying moment”, he added.

Mr. Teye Akuffo further seized the opportunity to educate on the need to secure all forms of the fire safety equipment to forestall such incidents.
